#weeklybeats week 8! Got started late this week and ended up with some ambientish jank. Didn't like my initial take at first, then I streamed the patch for half an hour to get more in the groove (find the stream on the Earth Modular Society YouTube channel if you're interested), and then recorded a second take, this time with drums. But in the cold light of the next day's relistening, I realized that I preferred my original take, so here you go! Patch notes: Panning chord chaos from the Sdkc Instruments Helical through Serge Stereo VCFQ and an Avalon Harmonics PanVCA "Organ" voice from the Serge Medusa through Xaoc Zagrzeb Bass: Vhikk X Lead: Monumatic Sequenced from Oxi One Mk2 and controlled from Neuzeit Drop. I did multitrack this, but the raw mix came out "fine", so I decided not to bother reconstructing my mix in the DAW. This track on WeeklyBeats: https://weeklybeats.com/janky+jams/mu...
