Here's a quick ferry trip crossing the Huangpu River around the Bund area of Shanghai. This ferry ride is what the everyday people of Shanghai take to get across the river. From Tai Tong Zhan Pier over to the other side to Gong Ping Road Pier. This ride takes all of 5 minutes to cross the river, but is amazing to see all the people board on their scooters, cross the river and see the cargo barges up close, then get to the other side.
