Photoshop Composite Editing Breakdown – Riddles of the Sphinx

Last week I showed you how I planned (lighting, angle, focal length, etc.) and shot a studio self-portrait with the intention of combining that shot with a previous image I had made of an oceanscape. In this video I break down the Photoshop editing process I went through to create the final composite. During the breakdown I go over the steps I took to build this composite and offer some tips and tricks on how to create better and more naturalistic selections. I also reveal a great trick for checking light levels in your composites so that you can make sure the brightness of your image is consistent. This is a key factor in building a realistic and believable composite image.
