A tool assisted speedrun of the game "A Pirate and his Crates", a very short puzzle-platform game, but surprisingly full of crazy tricks and glitches. There are also some interesting routes at the end of the video, which didn't make it into the final run. Interestingly, all the tricks here are possible to do by a human, but some are just too annoying or precise to use in full runs. The run was done on a modified version of the game, which let me teleport freely between levels. All levels were recorded separately, and then combined to a full segmented video with all 15 levels. The timer is still correct and running at normal speed. The "story" behind this: After the trick I found in my previous speedrun, I experimented a lot and found many other variances of the "mini-pirate" glitch, which lets you do some crazy stuff. I wanted to do an automated run to see how fast the game can really go now, if a player will run in the most optimal way. It took about 20 hours to route and record all levels; and it took about 15 hours to modify the game, sync the video and do some other stuff.
