In this we are going to cover operators in Kotlin. And we will cover given operator. 1. ARITHMETIC OPERATORS 2. ASSIGNMENT OPERATORS 3. UNARY OPERATORS 4. COMPARISON OPERATORS (Relational) 5. EQUALITY OPERATORS 6. Referential Equality 7. RANGE OPERATORS 8. LOGICAL OPERATORS (Boolean) 9. TYPE CHECKING AND CASTING OPERATORS Logical AND(&&) vs Bitwise AND (and) Logical OR(||) vs Bitwise or (or) The assignment operator is one equals sign =. The equals operator uses two equals signs ==. Unlike the Logical AND - && operator, Bitwise AND does not perform short-circuit evaluation. And same goes for Bitwise OR operator, It does not perform short-circuit evaluation. Short-circuit behavior - stops evaluating if the first condition is false in LOGICAL AND and stops evaluating if the first condition is true in logical AND.
