Meet the Gaudeamus Nominee 2025 - Robin Haigh

Meet Robin Haigh! Robin is one of the four nominee composers for the 2025 Gaudeamus Award. Robin Haigh is a composer (Ireland/UK) working internationally with leading orchestras, ensembles, and soloists. He writes music that blends pop, classical, and experimental ideologies and sounds. In recent years, Haigh has produced a string of celebrated works for orchestra and large ensemble. Especially for this year’s Gaudeamus Festival, Quatuor Bozzini will perform a brand-new work by Robin on Wednesday, 10 September. On Friday, 12 September, IEMA-Ensemble 2024/25 will play his piece HELL HOT, followed by another of his works performed by Asko|Schönberg and Silbersee.
