Welcome to my first VGM arrangement of 2024! This might be one of my favorite arrangements ever, I've had a lot of fun mixing and matching sounds and styles. Those of you who know me well enough know my arrangements can be very personal despite being covers, and I felt like this one was the perfect one to convey a message I deeply care about. Hopefully you'll get it! (There's also a little nod to another track I really like, go find it) Other than that, my main objective was creating a bustling cityscape, with many different elements that coexist and interact with each other. I know the original Pokémon city was based around Texas, but the music really makes me think of eastern countries, especially because of those pentatonic scales! I also put a lot of effort into the graphical side of this video, both to keep it intereting in those bits where I don't play guitar and as a way to establish a specific mood.
