Mountain Duck Salad with Orange Dressing from Cao Phong
This was the first stop on my journey to explore the Northwest mountain of Vietnam. We traveled to Cao Phong town (Hoa Binh province) and realized that this town is very famous for oranges. We stopped, went to the market and decided what to make with those beautiful oranges. I got the chance to cook in one of the largest orange gardens in Vietnam, and the experience was terrific. I have to say, that was the best duck salad I've ever tasted. The vegetables were incredibly fresh, the duck was so tender, and the orange was juicy and sweet. It was just perfect. More delicious food and fantastic mountain sceneries are coming your way.
