I share a couple of travel tips including pre booking Heathrow parking on the Heathrow website and using Virgin Atlantic’s Shops Away to earn Virgin Points on the parking you were going to book anyway. After parking in the terminal car park I make my way over to the Hilton Garden Inn at Heathrow Terminal 2, which is walkable from Terminal 3 and one of my go to pre-travel day hotels. I meet Luke at the hotel and we check in to our room together. We decide to have dinner at The Runway Bar on the rooftop. We order things like cauliflower tempura, chicken wings and the mezze platter. We chat about the trip, tell you the real itinerary and joke about how silly this series is going to be. The next morning starts very early at 5.20am. We get ready, pack up the room and walk over to Heathrow Terminal 3 for our Premium Economy Virgin Atlantic flight to Orlando. Because I have Virgin Gold status, we are able to use Fast Track security and head to the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse lounge. Our flight today is in Premium Economy on an Airbus A330-300, the older configuration. On board I show the Premium Economy seat, how the tray table works, the footrest, the storage and the inflight entertainment. We pre-selected our meals and talk through the menu, as well as showing you the welcome aboard drinks. During the flight we show you the in-flight meals and snacks, as well as give you our rating out of 5 and feedback. Upon arrival into Orlando International Airport we use the CBP MPC mobile passport app which lets us use the diplomat line (A) to get through immigration very quickly. We listen to Mayor Buddy Dyer on the tram, collect our luggage and meet our private driver Jim downstairs at Terminal A. We then arrive at Universal Orlando Resort and check in to the Helios Grand at Universal Epic Universe. After check-in, we give you a full room tour of our two queen high-floor theme park view room. In the afternoon we walk straight from the hotel entrance into Epic Universe for Luke's first time ever. We finish the evening back at the Helios Grand with dinner at Flora Taverna.
