In this video, I go on a hike to check out the Miyama Battery Ruins located near, Kada, Wakayama. The Miyama Battery Ruins are part of the Yura Fortress, which was built in the Meiji era along with the batteries in the Tomogashima area and the Yura area of Awaji Island, and was a facility that played a role in defending Osaka Bay. It is now incorporated into the Setonaikai National Park and is a popular tourist spot as a hiking trail (nature path) where you can experience history and nature.
