NEWBORN CLOTH DIAPER FIT HACKS: TINY LEGS & LEG GAPS

The main hack here is pulling up the top pul corners of diapers to tighten the legs. I show what it looks like on multiple diapers- including a few one size diapers! I also have included a breakdown of the video with weight range limits for each diaper. Sometimes you have no choice but to make what you have work. Babies are born with all kinds of body types. Using these hacks can look really strange but it works for tiny little legs! It's a great way to stretch the use out of diapers you already have. I'm sure there are exceptions to the rule, which means this hack might not work for all diapers in combination with certain tiny babies. I have weight range so listed below to help you gauge what diapers would be best for your newborn depending on weight range. For smaller babies: Thirsties preemie cover fits from 4-9 lbs and bummis super brite (possibly called xs, I think) fits 4-9 lbs. that might be an option for smaller babies tipping the 4-6 pound range. There are also preemie prefolds and newborn prefolds that would work well for the itty bitty baby born at a smaller weight. Using half flats would be another good option for a tiny baby as an "insert". If you're looking for a newborn AIO that will fit a tiny legged baby then maybe the lil Joey would be a good option. The main issue with Lil Joey is that it's not going to be super absorbent, especially for a heavy wetter. So keep that in mind. Happy flute and THX also make a similar diaper to the lil Joey for half the price, but I found it wasn't as absorbent at a lil Joey.
