This is a simple and easy watercolor painting tutorial ( painting demo ) of a Monstera leaf on a Sennelier sketch book. It's a relaxing follow-along demo for watercolor painting enthusiasts for beginner to intermediate levels. I love taking care of plants and making botanical paintings because I find it very relaxing and calming and helps with my mental health, focus, and overall health. Materials: Watercolor paper, preferably 300 gsm Flat brush 1/2" Round brush #6 Round brush #4 Paper towel or tissue paper Water (I use two glasses, one for rinsing the brush, and the other for wetting the paper and adding to the pigment) Masking fluid (optional) Cotton buds (optional) Watercolor pigments: Rose Opera May Green Lemon Yellow Green Umber Perylene Green Transparent Siena I used Sennelier watercolor notebook, Silver black velvet brushes, and Schmincke Horadam pigments in this demo, but feel free to use the brands that you prefer.
