Does a diy winter wardrobe sound like a fun plan? I wear a lot of handmade winter clothes and this pattern is another great addition to my me made wardrobe. If you love to sew your own clothes then keep watching... Welcome to my MCCALLS PATTERN REVIEW #8144, Stick around to find out if this pattern will be part of your DIY WINTER WARDROBE! Do you love to SEW YOUR OWN CLOTHES? Me Too! I will go in detail on how i sewed this sweater knit top.. And spoiler alert.... (whisper) its a great pattern for your handmade winter clothes I'll first show you the details of the shirt and then I will try it on. Pattern Description: Cowl neck pullover knit top with sleeve & length variations FABRICS: *With Nap. Cotton Knit, Sweater Knit, Velour, Velvet. I made a size medium I used view C for the blue rib knit sweater. View A for the forest green double brush poly. I like how the hem turned out. I used my serger for the whole top Were the instructions easy to follow? yes.... What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I loved everything about it. What alterations did you do? I omitted the seam going down the middle, I added interfacing to the neck. I purchased fabric from Walmart, its a rib knit light weight sweater material Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? yes Would you make it again? YES! What alterations would you reccommend? no alterations, just comments. its okay to leave out the seam but you get a better fit by putting the seam in. If you make view a you will definitly want to cut the length for view c because it would be too short. visit my amazon store: https://www.amazon.com/shop/simplydel...
