Pearl Pass is probably Colorado’s BEST trail… for testing EVs. Montezuma Basin is a narrow dangerous shelf road… so it’s a great place to see if a power wagon fits. We do both of those trails and try to make it from Crested Butte to Glenwood Springs without fueling up or charging. My Stock Jeep is there too. The video will give hikers wanting to climb the 14ers of Castle Peak or Conundrum Peak an idea of what the 4WD road is like. It also shows overlanders a cool camp spot on Pearl Pass as well as another one on Montezuma Basin. We test an EV, have a sketchy shelf road meet, check out an abandoned ski area, and get Pizza at the best spot in Colorado. I may have even hid a secret drinking game into this edit too. Please help us take care of trails and camp spots so I can keep sharing amazing routes and camp spots. About Colorado Mallcrawlers: We are a channel that aims to show incredible off-road trails and our adventures to get through them with stock or your not so typical off-road vehicles. If that sounds like a fun watch, we'd love to have you as a subscriber! Our focus is making great videos rather than being "Overland Influencers." If you want more from us, we created the channel membership to give our community the best trail info on youtube quicker since trail/overland guides take a while to create. We organize our trips through membership as this allows us to get on the same page before we wheel/film together. Video Editors are Drew Hunter and Dewie Jones. We're always looking for more offroad video editors as we film a ton of trails (most of a video's adsense goes to the editor since that is the work of making trail guides). We currently have 35 trail guides and overland routes filmed... some incredible videos/routes, so there is always videos to edit. I have been using them since 2012/2013 on my Jeeps and in 2025 I finally reached out to them (My TJ and camper have Kendas currently). They are getting my JL new tires in 2025 and we may do other stuff together.
