How Can I Ensure I Write a Strong Manuscript?

In life, there are no guarantees. So when an author asks us “How can I guarantee my book is the best?” it’s a hard question to answer. Writing is subjective as is reading. What one person thinks is good writing might seem terrible to another. A book that one person loves another might hate. Criteria for ‘good writing’ or ‘good books’ is on a continuum and at the judgment of the person in the reading chair. While we can’t make any promises about how an author’s book will compare to others deemed “great” or “best,” we can make plenty of suggestions about how to go about ensuring you’ve spared no expense, took no shortcuts, and done your due diligence to develop a strong manuscript. Whether people classify it as good, better, or best, you’ll at least know you did everything in your power to make it as good, better, or best as you could.
