China's foreign ministry has accused the US of "economic bullying" and "destabilising" the world's economies. In a news briefing, a spokesperson for the ministry said America's "abuse" of tariffs "seriously infringes" on the interests of countries around the world. China has vowed to "fight to the end" against the taxes, which Trump has said could rise as high as 104% if the nation does not withdraw its 34% tariff on US goods.
