The talent of the now 29 years old young man was picked up on at a rather young age, but he started to train his voice pretty late: at his age of 18. He has mastered the know how of singing in Hungary and in the United States. The male soprano lage, which he sings is unusually rare even in the whole world. He would like to make use of his abilities in the genre of crossover -- in which different elements of styles are mixed, as for André, the opera with light music and pop respectively. The name of André Vásáry sounds familiar in the Hungarian and foreign circles of the musical audience. He won the Opera contest in Miskolc, got to the final of the international song contest in Rome when he could be seen in the Vatican TV by 160 million people. He played theatrical roles in the Pesti Theater and in the National Theatre, received invitation to the world famous Staatsoper in Vienna, was asked to participate in many international competitions (in Paris, Graz and Vienna). He is a regular performer of the domestic concert stages, festivals (e.g. Budapest Baroque Festival, the Hungarian Farinelli concert series etc.) and of foreign appearances (Adoro Tour, Germany). He also took part in the hearing of Ricardo Muti, who offered him a role. The level of the musical culture represented by him is well described by the facts that he has been invited guest artist of the Debrecen Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Ádám Medveczky, of pianist Csilla Szentpéteri in her Christmas concert and of the Dohnanyi Symphonic Orchestra in their concerts held in the Italian Culture Institute and in the Palace of Arts. He is also going to perform now in the concert of the organ artist Xaver Varnus. Nevertheless he also has appearances of great success on his list with his concerts held in the much lighter crossover style, not only in Hungarian programs, but he also conquered the audience of the Hungarian inhibited territories beyond the borders. In the last months he has been frequent guest and performer of several TV shows and other popular programs like the Afternoon Tea Party (Teadélután), A Basketful Wishes (Kívánságkosár), Lucky Saturday (Szerencseszombat), Fábry Show, Story Gala among others. His third CD was released in November, 2011, which is an extraordinary Christmas album. It gained the Gold Record in the classical music category already in its first week in the market, but by now it achieved the Platinum Record status as well. This is the first Christmas album all over the world recorded with the accompaniment of a grand orchestra and has been made by a male soprano singer. On 14th December he held the large-scale album presentation charity concert of his Christmas album in the Budapest Congress Hall with the participation of such a famous guest artist like Tamás Vásáry. The total income of the concert supported the Foundation of the Child Clinic No. 1 of the Semmelweis University. Taking up the social role is regarded an important part of his life. He regularly gives performances on charity events mainly for handicapped children or for the victims of natural disasters. Let us mention some of them: the Star Christmas in Szombathely in favor of the red mud victims, the Hospice House event, and the program of the Hungarian Television titled Golden Branch or the program of the Pethő Institute and the K&H Bank program titled Magic Medicine.
