This boss fight comes at the end of Chapter 1 and causes a tone of bewilderment and frustration for almost everyone. Machinedramon's damage moves; like Energy Ball, Gigawatt Laser and Delete Program give him insane upfront, 1 shot, burst which many players are not expecting. This video will show both renditions of the fight and aims to give you a better insight into; how to prepare, what to watch out for and how to beat the boss (without using ExE Digivolution). I try to cover the most obvious tips and advice that I thought were relevant to the fight. Although the video has it's own commentary, the tl;dr: Block Gigawatt laser, land order point timings for max order points, only ever use your limit breaks together (not singularly) and sustain with recoveries when you can. Although the fights showcased are tough, 40 small recoveries, low stats & 1 combat tamer skill is all we needed. If you guys have more resources than this, then you will smash him! Now that I've played the game for a few years now, I hope to showcase some of the best ways to succeed, and eventually beat, Next Order. The trick is to try relax, be patient and learn the rhythm of the fight. Once you get your timings down and can predict when to block his power moves, this fight will become a cakewalk for you. My goal is to help you beat Machinedramon with ease, allowing you to go on and enjoy the rest of the game. I talk very quickly in this guide, which I apologize for. There is a lot going on and I wanted to try to stay on topic when showcasing examples of what I was teaching. If you need to watch this guide multiple times, then please do. If you watch this and then still have some difficulty with the boss then don't be ashamed. Machinedramon is no joke and it might take a few tries, maybe even many tries. The main thing to remember is once you beat him, it's done! As a mini disclaimer, different types of Digimon may be able to beat some enemies easier than others. This will be particularly true if you have an elemental advantage over your opponent, water beats fire, etc. Along the same vein though, some Digimon may struggle against others if they are naturally weak against their enemy's type. Keep this in mind when you train and when observing the examples mentioned on screen. If you go to a particular training spot and find it easy/too difficult, then move onto one of the others.
