©DerekGrantDigital.com Follow 3 Red Fox / 3 Silver Fox kits and their bobbed tailed vixen mother as they come of age along the shore front & within one of the busy ports on the eastern seaboard. The area is known locally as "Tin Can Beach" ...... Notes: @32seconds we see the father, male or "Dog Fox" appear. Probably the most elusive of this family of eight, he shared the spacious den where the kits were born, but after they moved from there, I only spotted him sparingly and/or moving thru the area and rarely pausing for long. However in this clip, he suddenly appears out of nowhere, lays down aside the vixen for about 5 minutes before disappearing into the field behind. @1:35, a mugging takes place @1:45, one of the silver kits knocks it's sibling assoverteakettle down the steep embankment - The still photo @ 5:03 shows the vixen & 5 kits.
