Lassarell és una possessió mallorquina tradicional —és a dir, una antiga explotació agropecuària amb cases i terres associades— situada a la vall de Colonya, dins del terme municipal de Pollença, a peu de la serra de la Cuculla de Fartàritx. Apareix documentada ja des de el Llibre del Repartiment de Mallorca (segle XIII), amb grafies antigues de topònim relacionades amb L’Assarell. Confronta amb altres finques i elements geogràfics com Fartàritx, el Rafal, Lassarelleta, Son Alí i la Mola. La vall on està ubicada és una zona típica de senderisme i barranquisme, travessada pel torrent de Lassarell, i forma part de rutes com la que va des del Roser Vell fins a Lassarell. Històricament, la possessió comptava amb cases i un molí de sang (mecanisme tradicional per moldre o treballar productes) i figura a l’inventari de finques rústiques amb almenys 50 quarterades de terra (unitat tradicional de superfície mallorquina). Fins al 1909, va ser propietat de la familia Sureda de can Sureda i després passà a la família Cerdà de can Bosc, tots dos cognoms locals de Pollença. Les cases i edificis han estat objecte de rehabilitació, mantenint el caràcter arquitectònic tradicional (estructura de façanes, cuina amb escalfapanxes, forn de pa, rentadors, etc.). El nom Lassarell s’ha trobat escrit de diverses maneres al llarg del temps (L’Assarell, Lassarel, LassereLL), i això s’ha estudiat en fonts sobre toponímia local. Lassarell is a traditional Mallorcan possession —that is, an old agricultural operation with houses and associated lands— located in the Colonya valley, within the municipality of Pollença, at the foot of the Cuculla de Fartàritx mountain range. It appears documented as early as the Llibre del Repartiment de Mallorca (13th century), with old toponymic spellings related to L’Assarell. It is compared to other estates and geographical elements such as Fartàritx, el Rafal, Lassarelleta, Son Alí and la Mola. The valley where it is located is a typical hiking and canyoning area, crossed by the Lassarell torrent, and is part of routes such as the one that goes from Roser Vell to Lassarell. Historically, the possession had houses and a blood mill (traditional mechanism for grinding or working products) and is listed in the inventory of rural properties with at least 50 quarterades of land (traditional Mallorcan unit of area). Until 1909, it was owned by the Sureda family of can Sureda and then passed to the Cerdà family of can Bosc, both local surnames of Pollença. The houses and buildings have been the subject of rehabilitation, maintaining the traditional architectural character (facade structure, kitchen with scalfapanxes, bread oven, washing machines, etc.). The name Lassarell has been found written in various ways over time (L’Assarell, Lassarel, LassereLL), and this has been studied in sources on local toponymy. Lassarell ist ein traditioneller mallorquinischer Landbesitz – ein alter landwirtschaftlicher Betrieb mit Häusern und zugehörigen Ländereien – im Tal von Colonya, in der Gemeinde Pollença, am Fuße des Gebirgszugs Cuculla de Fartàritx. Erwähnt wird er bereits im „Llibre del Repartiment de Mallorca“ (13. Jahrhundert) mit alten toponymischen Schreibweisen, die mit „L’Assarell“ in Verbindung stehen. Er wird mit anderen Gütern und geografischen Orten wie Fartàritx, El Rafal, Lassarelleta, Son Alí und La Mola verglichen.
