Hi, In this video I am visiting The Heaven Shipki La, India China or Tibet boarder reopened for Indian tourists after 63years. It was closed for common public post 1962. In few months this will be a go to location for everyone who is travelling to Spiti. China occupied 32000sq KM during this war. This pass is situated at 13,220 ft and surrounded by Himachal's highest peak Reo(22,000ft). Road is quite narrow hence drive/ride safe. Once you will reach the top you can see Chinese bunkers, roads, villages etc and can go till Indian fencing at this place. 43rd battalion of ITBP manages this please so maintain all decorums. Nearest village. from Shipki La is Pooh in Kinnaur (44km). Total time it requires is 3.5hrs to and fro. There is only one Dhaba at this place that too before first check post.
