The Three Musketeers is set in 17th century France. Cardinal Richelieu wants to be King of France. He decides to kill the King at his wedding to Princess Anne of Austria and have the Kings guards, The Musketeers, blamed for the crime. His partners in crime, Count De Rochefort & Milady De Winter will assist him with this crime, but Porthos the strong, Athos the cunning & Aramis who’s an understudy, but for a different Pantomime, find out the Cardinals plans and try to stop him. Mean while, Valentine D’Artagnan wants to join the Musketeers like her brother, but cant because you have to be a man to join. With the help of the not so smart Monty, the Taverns land lady’s son, Valentine pretends to be a man and tries to join the Musketeers under the assumed name of “Bob”. Things prove more difficult for Valentine when she discovers Arnaud de Treville, a childhood sweetheart, is in charge of training the musketeer recruits. Keeping her true identity and feelings hidden from Arnaud is going to be harder than she first thought.
