A full remix album reimagining Metroid Prime through shamisen, taiko drums, Japanese violin, and Shakuhachi (Japanese flute) Hopefully it's as nostalgic for you as it was for me making it ⚔️🌀🎮 ╔═══════ ⋆★⋆ ═══════╗ M E T R O I D P R I M E - S H A M I S E N - S U P E R M I X ╚═══════ ⋆★⋆ ═══════╝ ﹣ note: I took some liberties - moreso with this one than with the Zelda album, there are a lot of ambient noises, and I wanted to leave quite a few sounds from the actual game in there, I think they mostly turned out good note 2: I will say I played around more with synths, ambience and drum kits in this one - and I left some songs the heck alone when it came to pacing, so Phenandra drifts is more slowed down/ evenly pace. and also the tracks all sounded WAY better in premiere, so I'm not entirely sure why the sound quality is super degraded on the export for those music junkies in the crowd I export at AAC, sample rate at 48000, channels Stereo, Bitrate 384 - it sounds pretty freakin' good in Premiere, but then super shitty on Windows Media Player (it could be the media player but I don't know how it will sound on YouTube without it) 🎧 this remix project blends original Metroid Prime samples with AI-separated stems (for all of the Japanese intstruments), then layered them manually in FL Studio, then I take them over to Audition for mastering - this seems to be working pretty good as the new workflow I'm still not the most content with a few of the songs, but I like how a good amount of them turned out.
