The measuring instruments of the intelliTHERM (thermometer with output signal) and intelliGAUGE (pressure gauge with output signal) series provide a remedy and are an optimal alternative to standard temperature or pressure measuring instruments. These measuring instruments offer a 2-in-1 solution and, as well as the direct reading from the display, they also enable the transmission of an electrical output signal. The special design of the pointer shaft, to which a magnet is attached, can thus transmit changes in the magnetic field. This is made via a Hall sensor, which measures the resistance of the changed magnetic field. In this way, an electronic signal can be generated, contact-free, simply by moving the pointer.
