Dangerous Atari 2600 Jr Repair and USB-C Mod

So I picked up this Atari 2600 Jr from Ebay for the nominal sum of £10 with the understanding it was having issues displaying any picture so I thought this is right up my street so I put the big in and hey presto I won! What I wasn't expecting is the nasty and quite frankly DANGEROUS bodge job to the power input. The connector has been cut off the power brick and the bare wires were tied, yes tied to the PCB, Yes I was as surprised as you will be. So my initial plan was to try and sort out the problem with the picture (there was only distortion no discernable image) and complete a temporary (but safer) repair to the power input with the view of carrying out a USB-C mod in a future video when the USB-C trigger board arrives. However, the board unexpectedly arrived before I had finished editing the initial video so I decided to postpone uploading and carry out the mod and put it all into one video rather than stretch over two.
