A Dalit man in Uttar Pradesh's Kasganj who has been fighting to take out his baraat or wedding procession has finally got his way. Sanjay Jatav will be able to take out his baraat through a Thakur dominated area to reach the wedding venue. The district administration, which had earlier refused to let Sanjay Jatav reach the venue in a procession considered basic to most north Indian weddings because of the opposition, changed its mind on Sunday.
