3D OMBRE FLOWERS USING MARBLING ACRYLIC POWDER

Hey everyone, I love these new marbling acrylics and I wanted to see what would happen when I tried to make a flower with them. I can do the same effect by double dipping. but that is a technique which takes time to master, this could be a quicker way. The reason this effect occurs is a bit of a mystery to me, but it is cool. I just know that when I put the brush with monomer on to the powder, the side of the bead touching the brush goes lighter or darker depending on which powder it is. This means you have to make sure you put the bead down in the right direction to get the effect you want, i.e the lighter part is on the outside each time. I am gonna start with a metallic background to give this design a really contracting look. Matte vs Shiny I like how it gives a shaded or highlighted look, depending on what side it on. it really gives the art some depth. which is what you want to achieve with 3D work.
