Training providers: Changes to the Apprenticeship Accountability Framework (AAF)

This recorded webinar is aimed at all training providers delivering apprenticeships and covers an overview of the upcoming changes to the AAF, including how Ofsted's revised inspection framework will influence accountability. The webinar includes: • An overview of the planned changes to the AAF • An explanation of the principles that will guide the application of our intervention approach for Ofsted outcomes in apprenticeships • Details of the triggers that may prompt a review and/or action • A live Q&A session PLEASE NOTE at 31:22 we would like to add additional clarification around PPED (Past Planned End Date) indicator: ​The Apprenticeship Accountability Framework and the Dashboard are being updated so that the PPED indicator includes only Programme Aims (ZPROG) where: • No Learning Actual End Date has been recorded • The Learning Planned End Date is at least one day before the relevant ILR freeze date Once a Learning Actual End Date is recorded, the Programme Aim will no longer appear in the PPED measure, even if it had previously been included. The Dashboard will reflect this corrected calculation from the R06 release. Providers do not need to take any action or change how they submit data.. Further updates will be communicated through the usual channels.
