Turvasu was one of Yayati’s sons who refused to part with their youth to help their father. Turvasu was therefore cursed to live as a king among the unruly tribes in the western part of the kingdom. That region was what we now call Turkey. Turvasu took the help of Indo-European Danavas to establish his kingdom there. The Mahabharat calls his decedents Yavanas, meaning ‘those that travelled away’. In short, this is another video by myself which supports Out of India Theory and rejects the standard Aryan Invasion Theory. The Mahabharata compliments the Greeks as "the all-knowing Yavanas." But still ‘Yavanas’ like the ancient Turks. It was also foretold that these Yavanas would conquer Bharat. That proved to be true in 326 BCE when the Greek king, Alexandra the Great, reached as far as present day Pakistan. Interesting.
