Landing can be a challenge, whereas take-off is straightforward. Use the cyclic and collective beep trims (2x sets of four inputs), to bring the H145 to a landing spot - and just to make things more challenging, we land in a stadium. I suspect that the stadium here has been updated by the Orbx GB Central add-on. The main lessons issustrated are approach at say 60 knots, decrease speed slowly to around 40 knots, bring in hover mode, then (i) Practice and get to know the time it takes to lose momentum as you come to a stop in hover (GTC.H) mode, and (ii) The shift in momentum when using the beep trims. GTC (effectively taxi mode) can also be effective as well. (iii) You can use the map within the NAVD screen - eaiser if you turn off the terrain colouration - to map very accurately the postion of the H145 - even to say an area of a car-park. (iv) Don't be afraid to mix an external, near-overhead view, with yout internal view to judge where you are in space, especially when it comes to tying to hover accurately over a landing site. In addition, in the future we look forward to Hype adding the rear mounted camera which will improve this.
