RayBan Meta Glasses: Can You Turn Off or Block the Camera LED Light when Recording Videos or Photo?

I wanted to turn off or block the LED camera light on the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses when recording videos or taking photos. I tried with a piece of black electrical tape to cover the LED light lens but it does not work. Whether I try to record a video or taking a photo its says... "the capture LED is blocked, unblock the front of the glasses to use the camera". Has anybody tried to cover the LED with a marker?
