Mukhtar Ansari Hospitalized After 'Poison In Food' Claims At UP jail, Admitted To Hospital In Banda

Gangster-turned-politician Mukhtar Ansari was admitted to Uttar Pradesh’s Banda Medical College on March 26 after his health deteriorated in jail. After visiting Mukhtar Ansari in the hospital, his lawyer Naseem Haider said that he is stable but facing difficulty in speaking. “Some reports are pending. He is stable but he is facing difficulty in speaking...,” said Mukhtar Ansari’s lawyer Naseem Haider after visiting him in the hospital. Notably, Mukhtar Ansari is currently serving in life imprisonment in the Banda jail in Uttar Pradesh. He has around 60 cases pending against him in UP, Punjab, New Delhi and other states.
