Perfect for busy weeknights when you want a fast, delicious homemade meal with simple ingredients. This recipe uses chicken thighs for maximum juiciness and comes together in one pan. Serve it with rice, noodles, or veggies for a complete dinner the whole family will love. Ingredients ●4-6 boneless chicken thighs, skin on ●Salt and freshly ground black pepper ●½ cup all-purpose flour (for light coating) ●Neutral oil (canola or vegetable), for frying ●2 tbs butter ●4 cloves garlic, finely minced For Honey Soy Sauce (adjust according to your taste) Combine ●½ cup water ●3 tbsp soy sauce (low-sodium preferred) ●2 tbsp oyster sauce ●2 tbsp honey (add more to taste) ●2 tsp sesame oil ●Optional: pinch of chili flakes Instructions ●Pat chicken thighs very dry with paper towels. ●Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper. ●Lightly coat the chicken in flour, shaking off excess. ●Fry until crispy ●Heat a large skillet over medium heat ●Add small amount of oil ●Place chicken skin-side down in the pan. ●Fry 5–7 minutes until the skin is deep golden and crispy. ●Flip and cook another 4–5 minutes until cooked through. ●Remove chicken and set aside on a plate. ●Lower heat to medium-low. ●Add butter and garlic, sauté for 20–30 seconds until fragrant (do not brown) ●Add Soya mixture (water, soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, and sesame oil.) ●Stir and simmer 2–5 minutes until slightly thickened. ●Return chicken to the pan. ●Spoon sauce over the thighs and simmer 2–3 minutes, turning once, until well coated and glossy To Serve ●Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions ●Serve with steamed rice, noodles, or sautéed greens #honeysoychicken #garlicchicken #crispychicken #chickenthighs #easychickenrecipe #panfriedchicken #homecooking
