Vintage Bristol Film from 1940s shows Llandoger Trow Pub
This silent film follows a sailor returning home at Bristol Docks. He stops at the Llandoger Trow pub for a pint near Welsh Back but has a few too many before staggering back to his house - which looks like the meeting place for the Cine Circle club who shot this film. The code on this 16mm film suggests it was made between 1945 and 1947 . The sailor walks around the dock area in Bristol where various businesses are running including Warren & Co, Charles Hill & Sons and FC Brummell & son.
