A walk to Manaslu n' Larkey La - NEPAL - 2017 • Day 07-14

Part II in this video, we are connecting to Manaslu Trek from the previous section in Tsum Valley, within Gorkha District. This is the second video from the documentary I have made on my walks across Nepal. Making a journey from central Nepal to the far-west, Gorkha to Mugu District, and a few more treks in the eastern Nepal. - I had wanted to trek across Nepal since the days I went for my first trek in Langtang Valley and Gosaikund. As I did more studies on walks across the country, I came across the Great Himalayan Trail and it had been stuck in my mind ever since, 2015. As I did more visual research, it was not possible for me to find a good record of somebody who had done it. I had read alot of journals and stories but videos were very hard to find. My plan was to film as much as possible with regard to my safety on the trail as I would be alone most of the time. I didn't know how I would make the story but filming the most out of the trail was my only idea. I wanted to document the trek. The idea of narrating came during the editing process... - Thanks to Shirish dai for joining me on the first 14 days of my trek. He uplifted me and gave me hopes to continue further on my own, which I'd doubt if I would even make it past Kagbeni, to the west, had I been soloing since day 1.
