DIY Surfboard Spin Template

If you ever wanted to make your own surfboard, the first thing you need is a template for your outline. Some people like to make a template of the full board but that takes big sheets of wood (especially if you are making a longboard), and takes up a lot o space. As an alternative, I prefer to use spin templates. They take up a quarter of the space and they are much easier to mix and match to make custom designs. In this video I'll show you how to make a paper spin template via a $3 shape3d software, and then transfer that to a wooden template if you want a longer lasting template to use in the future.
