This video shows our walk along High Road and around Beeston Square in Beeston Town in Nottingham, United Kingdom. We went to the town to buy some foodstuffs from an Asian Oriental shop and also buy and do other things. So, let’s go to Beeston Town Centre! Beeston is a vibrant town in Nottinghamshire, England. The town is located about 5 miles South-West of the city centre of Nottingham. It is the nearest town, within walking distance, to the University of Nottingham’s main campus, University Park. The town boasts many shops, supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, cafes, and places of interest. The main shopping area in Beeston Town is along the High Road, much of which has been pedestrianised. Beeston Town is also home to banks, building societies, estate agents, solicitors and other service providers. Craft fairs and farmer’s market are also set up in the town at certain time. The town is within walking distance to the Beeston train station. The Beeston Tram and Bus Station is located in the town centre. The NET tram connects Beeston to surrounding areas, the university campus, Nottingham City Centre and the Tram Park and Ride. Places of interest such as Beeston Marina, Canal and Lock are also in close proximity to the town centre.
