Hard Decisions...What’s Next For Us? | Van Life Alaska

We begin our adventure at Trail Lake just outside of Moose Pass, Alaska. After a quick stop in the town of Seward, we head out toward Exit Glacier where we find a perfect boondocking location for our Winnebago Revel 4x4. Our travels have led us to many places over the past year but we have never had to face some of the decisions we are now dealing with. Due to COVID-19 we have a lot of uncertainty about careers, travel plans, and a future direction for our van life dreams. We decided to take a bit of time off to mull over how to move forward during the pandemic and decide it was time to support local businesses by doing a fishing charter for the very first time. We had a wonderul day out on the ocean catching halibut, Ling Cod, Yellow Eye, and Rock Fish. We made some new friends, to include a nice visit from Outlier Overland who decided to bring us some ice cream and say hello. Needless to say it was just the right experience to help us understand how much we love Van Life and maybe push us toward making some adjustments in our future goals to take the next step forward.
