I have just upgraded from my previous Lima NS series 1600s to a Roco 1800. So I did this running session to see how things looked. The 1800 is with my Lima ICR rake. Although shortened length, they still look decent to me if you add smaller wheels, trim off the extra mouldings on the bogies and arrange the couplings closer. I also added a double deck DDM coach to the rake. These run as dedicated cycle coaches, with the bottom deck as a cycle park. This is running with a major rarity I found on eBay- a Rivarossi mDDM. These strange locos have a Bo-Bo-Bo wheel arrangement, but with passenger accommodation on the top deck! It is running with a rake of DDM coaches. Finally, my old Lima Mat '54 Hondekop. Lima didn't model the third coach properly, supplying a second 1st class coach. However, with a bit of work, it doesn't look too bad, despite the multitude of errors and short length. I have removed the yellow window surrounds and painted the inside. I front coupling helps with the look of the power cars. Eventually, I will add some high red tail lights for the trailer coach. I remembered to drive on the right this time!!!
