Bus trip on Pamukkale luxury VIP bus from Istanbul to Ankara رحلة بالحافلة على حافلة VIP باموكالي الفاخرة من اسطنبول إلى أنقرة For English turn on Subtitles We took the bus from the Atasehir Dudullu Terminali to Ankara´s ASTI Bus Station. The journey took about 5 hours and had one stop. On the bus there was free snacks and drinks and a pretty good entertainment system. In Istanbul, you don´t have to go to the main bus station on the European side of the city. Instead, you can use the company´s bus terminal in Atasehir which is connected to many places with free shuttle buses (called "servis" in Turkish) which will take you to the bus terminal. In Ankara it´s easy to get to the bus station because it has it´s own stop at the end of the Green metro line. The journey is just 20 minutes from Kizilay in the centre of Ankara. To use the Ankara metro you need to buy an Ankara card from the machine, which costs 7 lira. You can then load as much credit as you need on this card (each journey costs about 3 lira) It´s best to buy the ticket at least one day in advance as seats sell out. I used the app "Obilet.com" which you can download and install on your phone. Tickets are electronic so you don´t need to print anything out (just make a screenshot of the reservation)
