day trip to hakodate, hokkaido!

Timestamps: 0:18-10:37: Day 9 (Hakodate) 10:43-17:25: Day 10 (Hakodate → Niseko) In days 9 and 10, we explore the cool seaside city of Hakodate. We explore the expansive fish markets, the historic Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse complex, and visit the oldest Russian Orthodox Church in Japan. We end the afternoon with a tram ride back to the station, and then rest for a bit at the RV park while I take a small walk. In the evening, we have delicious conveyor belt sushi, and then end the night with an awesome trip to the Hakodate Ropeway to see the night view of the city. The next day, we head to Fort Goryokaku, a historical and architectural wonder. After eating a quick lunch of burgers, we make a few stops at a couple different michi no eki, soaking up the sun in the mountains. A little while later, we end up in Niseko and Kutchan, popular ski resort towns with sweeping landscapes. Settling into the RV park for the night, we bask in the bliss of the fresh air and nature.
