His name is taken from King Ban, the father of Sir Lancelot. He is nearly seven feet tall, is extremely lean yet muscular, wears red leather clothing, and has white hair. His wanted poster depicts him with a short and spiky hairstyle which he reverts to after cutting his long hair achieved while in captivity. He was initially imprisoned in the Baste Dungeon, before escaping when he discovered that Meliodas was still alive. He and Meliodas are best friends and rivals to the point of being blood-related, and the two often engage in friendly scuffles together to compare their strengths. He and King also form a dynamic duo, with King's 'nice guy' personality and relation to Elaine as her protective older brother clashing with Ban's 'bad boy' personality and romance with Elaine.
