Myself and my friends (Nick, Bill, and Nick's dad) journeyed out along Florida's Gulf Coast with the hopes of finding a rarely seen turtle species - the diamondback terrapin. We also encountered a lot of unexpected wildlife along the way from dolphins to even a young tiger shark. This was easily one of the wildest saltwater habitats I have ever explored, and I'm super thankful to Nick for inviting us to come along in their boat to explore this amazing ecosystem he and his dad know so well.
