Can DCT Convert A Manual Transmission Diehard?

BMW's dual clutch transmission (DCT) is ridiculous fun, but if you're a dedicated manual transmission fanatic and didn't have the option of a manual, would DCT (or something like it) suffice? DCT vs manual in F8X cars. Let's go. p.s. it occurred to me that I failed to mention something good about the manual gearbox in an F80 other than my overly subjective "it's just great" ramblings. It's ultra precise and doesn't feel mushy.. I love that. And even though it's not one of those really small short throw shifters, the like that the travel is just right. Enough space to feel like you can send it into place but not like you're rowing some massive lever. I suppose I should have added stuff like that. Thanks for watching!
