A great idea for a Christmas parade, absolutely ruined by the torrential rains that came along about half an hour into the event. Watch celebrities like Mark Stevens, Linda Hartley, Cameron Daddo, Michael Edward Stevens, Collette Roberts, Rolf Harris, Kerri-Anne Kennerley, Ronald McDonald, Normie Rowe, Bernard King, Larry Emdur, Tim Webster and Lyndel Jacob get absolutely pissed on from a great height in torrential rains. Includes the original commercial breaks. Grace Bros held three more Christmas parades following this one, indicating the event wasn't a total disaster: http://fabsydneyflashbacks.blogspot.c... But evidently, it didn't end up becoming the annual spectacle that had been hoped for. The early 90s recession probably was the clincher.
