In this video I attempt two fan swaps of my Dell Compellent SC200 and SC220 SAS enclosures. I also try setting the fan speed over serial terminl using a Dell "Password Reset" serial cable, but was unable to get the fan speed to stick. I take SPL readings with a decibel meter, and check thermals using both a thermal imaging camera and SMART readings.
