Footage released of Dr Hussam Abu Safiya’s arrest at Kamal Adwan Hospital

Footage has emerged showing Dr Hussam Abu Safiya’s arrest by Israeli forces at northern Gaza’s Kamal Adwan Hospital. On Friday, Israeli forces stormed the hospital, forcibly evacuating patients and medical staff and arresting over 240 people, including the hospital’s director, Dr Hussam Abu Safiya, who remains in Israeli custody. Several medical staff were burned alive in fires ignited during the raid, while patients and medics were stripped of their clothing and forced to leave the hospital on foot. According to the Israeli military, all activities will reportedly be transferred to the nearby Indonesian Hospital, which has effectively become the only major functioning hospital north of Gaza City.
