Our wanders wake from strange dream, each with their own lives to return to, but through luck, happenstance, or even divine intervention find themselves led through cloying mists to a strange carnival only to be reunited once more. What answers will they find, what challenges will they overcome, and what threats are lurking just out of sight? We graciously welcome you to the first episode of Those Who Wander, a bi-weekly gothic horror campaign set within the Domains of Dread, join us as we see where the mists lead us. Razvan's musings -- Our eyes wondered from sleep, and into an awakened yet foreign place. Once gathered, we found ourselves somewhere lost, perhaps forgotten. We met strange fellows, as strange as this place that we have come to. While some things seems familiar, much more seem uncommonly harmed. A forest, a road, a mist blanketed sky: all endless in their make to our eyes. And yet, something compels us to follow. We obliged. Four souls, our souls, converged and met for the first time outside in the rain. For better or for worse, we followed the pleads of one Adelyn. Towards the house on a hill, we wearily risked and ventured fourth. The home, if it could be called as such, was as broken and misplace as we are. Unnerving, a statue seemed to watch us in movement, we decided to leave it be. Upon broken rooms and stranded magics, we found a voice from a mirror. By candle light, it appears we summoned some form of Adelyn. Beguiled by a request too far, this apparition launched us into a skirmish. Violence turned to a duel of wills over a severed heart, now sundered. Verily, my eyes opened at home, or as close as to one that I can have. What a strange dream? Or could it have been something more?
