Back in 2008 my mate and I decided to document our first travels together. We explored the Wimmera Mallee, then in 2009 we explored the lower part of the Great Dividing Range. In 2010 we did our third "Whiparound". We explored the island state of Tasmania, Australia, often called The Apple Isle. We did everything officially; getting permission to film in National Parks, obtaining relevant insurance coverage, prearranging some interesting interviews. All the music used was done so under a creative commons license from JAMENDO.COM and every artist gave us permission to use their music without any compensation. They each received a copy of the original documentary (with extra scenes and interviews) and were grateful for the exposure. The footage was filmed with Panasonic HDC-HS250's and 350's. Photography with a Panasonic DMC-FZ50. I used Sony Vegas Pro to edit the footage. Due to the way the footage was digitalised, there was quality loss and so I have attempted to enhance the clarity in this version, as well as enhancing the audio to remove internal car noise and other sounds in other situations. The re-editing was done with CapCut Pro, which I have found to be much more user friendly and more efficient than Sony Vegas Pro version I used at the time. The latest Sony Vegas Pro does not work on my PC. This version of the documentary is more than 50% shorter than the original to keep it pacier and more entertaining, while keeping much of the natural banter between us. I do hope you get something out of this video, but if you don't like this video and want to give it a thumbs down, at least let me know why so I can improve my work in future, otherwise your dislike has no value to me. All parties involved have been credited at the end of the documentary and we thank everyone who was involved. My Camping Review and Travel Playlist - • Camping & Travel Adventures
