Doggie Daycare Just Got Even Better for Houston-Area Pets! Rover Oaks Pet Resort has unveiled its latest addition to its Katy, Texas pet care facility – a brand new waterpark for dogs! This custom designed, 700 square foot pool features three water wall cascades, faux palm trees with shooting waterfalls, a beach-style entry and a custom filtration and purification system. The doggie pool is surrounded by a 6,000 square foot turf playground and 30-foot shade canopy. This completes a long-term resort expansion project that began with a smaller "splash pool" on the opposite side of their facility over a year ago. Rover Oaks now offers two complete doggie pools and playgrounds – one on each side of their facility. The waterparks will primarily be utilized for their doggie daycare program, but dogs who are lodging at Rover Oaks will ultimately be able to enjoy private pool time as well. Doggie daycare offers social dogs the opportunity to “play with the pack” while their owners are working during the day, when they are lodging overnight, or just anytime for a great day of fun and exercise. Rover Oaks Pet Resort offers a customized doggie daycare program for dogs of all sizes, ages and play styles including large dog daycare, small dog daycare, and puppy playschool. Dogs attending daycare at Rover Oaks are always supervised by a team of Daycare Counselors who are specifically trained in pet care, dog behavior and pack dynamics. They maintain a ratio of 1 staff for every 12 dogs; creating a safer, more controlled environment for socialization and play.
